7/23/2001As promised, we came back to sample more of this restaurant's fare. Unfortunately, this time around we had poor service, and the food wasn't quite as good as last time. The chicken and ribs platter was good, but the ribs were still the highlight. Their french
onion soup was okay, and their salad was kind of wilty. Fortunately the margaritas were as good
as ever, and we sampled a couple different flavors, which were both excellent. A note: they
haven't printed new menus in a while, and they don't serve the 60oz margarita pichers that the
menu claims they serve.
4/14/2001This American restaurant with a slight tropical theme is located in the Hollywood area of
Woodinville. They serve standard American fare, a-la Red Robin, but the food is a bit better.
We tried this place after a session at a nearby driving range, and I had to go for the ribs.
Boy, were they tasty! Some of the best ribs I've had in quite a while. Well seasoned and
prepared, they came with good fries and corn-on-the-cob. To fit with the tropical theme, I
had a margarita, which was very strong and tasty. Service was average, but I was very
impressed with the food. We'll have to come back and sample more of the menu.
