Normally, I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants. They usually have good food, but not great food or great prices. Chevys bucks the trend by giving you very good Mexican food at very reasonable prices.

We tried the Mixed Grill, an assortment of ribs, chicken, shrimp, beef, and vegetables served fajita style. At $14.99 it sounded a little pricy, until our server recommended that one would be enough for both of us. Boy, was he right! The plate was huge, and was plenty for both of us, and it was all good! The worst item was the ribs, which were quite dry and chewy, but at least they came with some great sweet-hot dipping sauce. For dessert, we had some excellent Flan, another steal at only $2.99 for a decent helping. Top it off with nice hot chips and good salsa, and it was a really good meal. If they only had one closer to Redmond...
